Service Opportunities at St. James

Resolution adopted in 2007:

• Whereas each of us is called to serve all people, following the example of our Lord Jesus; and
  
  

• Whereas a faith that is growing is a faith active in love; and
  
  

• Whereas most of us learn well by doing; and
  
  

• Whereas the needs of our world are great and the opportunities to serve are many;
  
  
  Therefore be it resolved that we, the members of St. James, commit ourselves to the faith practice of service; and
  
  Be it further resolved that each member seek out some new form of service to others, whether in the church or in the community.
